Exhausted

I am rather exhausted today. I was up late last night with my sick son, then I woke up early because he was sick some more. An hour after that he informed me that it hurt too much to eat and since he had only had liquids since yesterday morning I checked his throat and noticed how incredibly red it was and I thought I saw white spots so I spent a couple of hours waiting to get him checked before the doctors office closed. Thankfully he doesn't have strep throat. Now that I have my son settled and I am secure in knowing that he is not sicker then he seems I am able to focus on my Finals Week. I still have work for each of my classes to do, not a lot for most of them, but still some. The most work I will be doing is going to be in one of my English classes. I wrote an 8 page pager, and this last thursday I had a meeting with the teacher so that he could help me with my paper. He gave me a really awesome suggestion, which I fully intend to take, but in order to follow that suggestion I will be writing at least half of my paper over again, and doing more research. Honestly, it's worth it, plus I was happy to see that my teacher was intrigued with the topic of my paper. It is hard to know what to write a final paper on when they say, here are 4 stories or 1 poem, and 6 different critic styles, choose a story or the poem, and a critic style and go with it. I like being able to do that, but at the same time I worry that I'm not doing it right. I am happy to say that I didn't entirely do it right, but that I wasn't too far off of what was wanted, so in my mind, I have definitely improved since the beginning of school, and now I have different ways to critic a subject and write about it. I really like being able to do that.

As I said I have more in all of my classes. In one of my favorite classes, I just have to finish up a few of my web pages and make sure the whole website is responsive to different sizes. I have other little projects to do, but they are small compared to that one. In one class I need to finish fixing my portfolio work and submit it. In another class I have a New Testament exam on Tuesday (wish me luck), and on Wednesday I have my final exam for my beginners Geology class. This semester was full of awesome classes, amazing teachers, and a great learning environment. I am sad to see this semester end because I really enjoyed my classes and the people in them, but I am also ready to learn new things and meet new people. I hope everyones finals prove fruitful.

Good Luck with your finals!
